Inspect Vial

Verify vial integrity and inspect the lyophilized powder.

Add Diluent

Add the chosen sterile diluent according to your protocol.

Reconstitute Slowly

Allow liquid to flow gently down the inside wall of the vial. Do not inject directly onto the powder.

Swirl Gently

Roll or swirl gently until dissolved. Never shake.

Verify Clarity

Solution should appear clear and free of visible particles.

Clean Site

Swab the chosen injection site with alcohol and let it dry.

Pinch Skin

Gently pinch a 2-inch fold of skin between your fingers.

Insert Needle (45°)

Insert the needle at a 45° angle with a swift motion.

Inject Slowly

Depress the plunger steadily and slowly to deliver dose.

5

Hold Briefly

Hold needle in place for 5s to ensure complete delivery.

Withdraw Needle

Withdraw needle quickly at the same insertion angle.

7

Apply Light Pressure

Press sterile gauze pad on site. Do not rub or massage.

8

Dispose Safely

Place syringe immediately into a sharps container.

9

Inspect Site

Monitor the injection site for reaction or irritation.

10

Rotate Locations

Rotate locations systematically for subsequent tests.
